I put myself on a self-imposed AIM hiatus. I decided it was generating more stress than happiness in my life, so I shut it down for at least the month of September. What I’ve found now is that without an away message to post amusing or interesting text from around the world and web, I feel like I’m not sharing the snippets I find.
Well, who needs more reason than that to start yet another blog-like creation? This is my tumblr: found text. It is, quite simply, the text I read that I’m moved to read twice, or three times.
I’m trying to figure out a better way to integrate it into this site, since that would be most appropriate. There are “asides” in wordpress, but I don’t particularly want to clutter up the main page. I’d do it as one of the side pages, but that doesn’t allow the “post” style editing. I could arrange a feed from the tumblr to one of those side pages, but feeddigest doesn’t quite do what I want. Suggestions?
